It consists of a Heat Pump ( Thermoelectric
Cooler ), a heat sink and a cooling fan. These kind of
assemblies can provide cooling for laser Diodes, Detectors,
CPUs, small samples, small boxes, etc. The heat from one side
will be pumped away through the Heat Pump to the heat sink and then to
ambient air with the help of the cooling fan.
Cooling to below freezing can be achieved and the cooling powers are from ~ 2W to ~40W and up. Applying the DC power, these units are ready to cool your device. No complicated assembly is required. |
