Example of application Heat Pipe Assembly
It consists of Heat Pipe, Heat sink, Heat Spreader + Thermal Tape, and Mounting Plate ( with holes and studs). Specially designed for cooling CPU of Notebook Computers.
Due to the space constraint the heat sink can not fit directly above the CPU.
Two unique features: (A) The Thermal Tape and Heat Spreader help transfer heat to the Heat Pipe and then to the Heat Sink. (B) The Mounting Plate holds the Heat Spreader tightly against the CPU and also functions as a mechanical support for the heat pipe and an additional heat sink.
